This is the second month in a row that sales of Lada cars have declined after a long period of growth that lasted almost two years. If in January the drop was insignificant - only 0.2%, then in February it increased significantly to 4.2%. In the first two months of 2025, AvtoVAZ sold 47,518 cars on the Russian market, a decrease of 2.5% compared to last year.

AvtoVAZ notes that Lada's sales results in February were significantly better than in the domestic automotive market as a whole. According to the company, total sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia fell by 25%. It is worth considering that the official statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Autostat have not yet been published.
