According to RBC, citing data from one of the retail chains, on March 3, sales of all types of alcohol (from spirits to low-alcohol) fell by 57% compared to the previous week and by 52% compared to the same day last year. Another chain also noted a twofold decrease in sales.

Experts note that it is too early to definitively assess the impact of the new restrictions on customer behavior. They can get used to the changes by planning purchases in advance at the allowed time. To obtain accurate conclusions, it is necessary to monitor for a month.
