In a study of 1,200 respondents, 48% of women expressed confidence in favorable conditions for starting their own business, and 44% were willing to take risks despite possible setbacks. Most of them (58%) manage companies with an annual turnover of up to 5 million rubles, while 35% work in the retail sector.

Anatoly Popov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, noted that the number of women entrepreneurs in Russia is increasing, especially in small businesses. 90% of the respondents turn to their loved ones for support in difficult moments, and 50% consider their companies family-owned.
Among the respondents, 55% rate their current business position as stable. Women emphasize the importance of government support, especially in the form of special tax regimes and educational programs.
